Events

Whether you are hosting a charity ball, a book launch, a wedding anniversary party, a monumental birthday party, a family reunion, a christening or just a party for the sake of fun and celebration, SMP Weddings are available to photograph every moment.

I approach event photography in exactly the same way that I do with wedding photography, with a reportage style. Regardless of the size or venue, I will always focus on the essence of the event, photographing so as to bring it back to life with my images and telling the story in the most creative way.

Based in Cuckfield, Sussex, I usually photography events in the surrounding areas of Kent, Surrey, Brighton and London. Here is a small selection of some of the amazing events I have been lucky enough to cover:

Some Kind Words

  • Martyn (father of the bride)

“I just wanted to say how thrilled I am with the pictures of Louise and Jamie’s wedding. They’re not only technically perfect (I used to be in advertising and spent half my life bent over a lightbox!), but also hughly creative and individual, absolutely capturing the personality of the day.
And can I also say what a real pleasure it was to have you around - it felt like you were a family friend rather than somebody with an important job to do. Thanks for keeping so cheerful, and for making such a major contribution to the success and happiness of the day. I’m recommending you left right and centre!”
