So summer is upon us, sporadically at least, and the wedding season is in full swing. We are lucky enough to photograph weddings throughout the year and while we love a winter wedding the British weather dictates that these are usually glamourous indoor affairs, think twinkling candles and warming cocktails. Summer dos on the other hand open up a world of possibilities for garden party style fun.
We've photographed weddings in gardens, marquees and tipis and love the relaxed style that many of our couples have gone for. In keeping with the festival feel of a garden party wedding, food trucks are a budget friendly alternative to a sit down reception, whether it's an ice-cream van delivering pudding or fish and chips all round a food truck gives you an affordable, casual cool way to feed your guests. Here are some of our favourite ideas and of course a few SMP Weddings images to give you some inspiration.
We adore this vintage ice cream van from Dotty About Ice Cream to spoil your guests with the ultimate summer treat.
