I've been photographing weddings since 2007 and am always blown away by the gorgeous things that my couples write to me and about me... it's very humbling and a real buzz at the same time. Making people deliriously happy with their images and giving them beautifully wrapped memories is a huge gift to us wedding photographers. Each and every wedding that I shoot, I immerse myself in it, I spend time chatting to my couples before the wedding, and hours pouring over the images post wedding. I have a stack of hand written thank you cards, which are all very special, it's a great feeling to know that you've done a good job and really captured the essence of a wedding.

Having researched online and asked for recommendations, I feel very fortunate that I found you Sophie! People mainly told us about their horror stories with pushy and demanding photographers. Few had talked about a ‘click’ with a photographer. And a ‘click’ between us all is what definitely happened with Sophie.
Firstly, when I saw her photographs I cried. She tells a story – and it’s not a posed story, or a forced story. There is emotion jumping off the page when you look at her gallery. I knew Jes, my now husband, would get on like a house on fire with her. Soph just seemed to instantly ‘get’ what we were looking to create. No hours of couple and family photos, moving to different locations when all you want to do is be with your friends and family. No ‘look this way, hold that, stand there’ type of experience!

I listened carefully when Soph said that she was just like a wedding guest, the only difference – she would have a camera around her neck! Soph said that we would not even know she was there. I wasn’t too sure about that part – as for me, I am not keen on being the centre of attention, however, Soph was right, I totally forgot she was with us. From the moment Soph joined us at the house when the girls were getting ready, she just blended in. It just felt like another friend had joined us.
We have no idea how she has taken so many natural, spontaneous shots of everyone and none of us realised. Soph has single handedly captured our entire day just like reading a wonderful book that you can’t put down. Our images are gorgeous. She has caught the emotion, the fun, the reflection – everything.

We cannot recommend Sophie highly enough. She is the best money you will ever spend! Her photos are magical and will give you memories to last a lifetime.

One other important thing to review is Sophie being there on the day...she was fantastic, so bubbly and warm...always there but never once felt in the way or intruding on anything.
My husband hates having his picture taken but likes a laugh so Sophie appeased him throughout the private shots of just us (which I requested!).
I love photography, but how anyone can stay on their feet for that long, with lots of equipment and still be happy and helpful I don't know!
